On Saturday November 9, 2024 Veterans Affairs Canada will host a Veteran Open Mic in the Royal Canadian Legion Notre-Dame-de-Grâce Branch 024/106 at 5455 Blvd De Maisonneuve Ouest, Montreal from 7:00 p.m. until approximately 10:00 p.m.
The intention of the Open Mic is to provide a casual alternative to the traditional commemorative ceremony and to recognize the important role music plays in the healing process and in bringing people together. Veterans, current serving members, and their guests are invited to enjoy an entertaining evening where they will have the opportunity to share stories and songs or simply enjoy the music of others.
